Asha Deep is a Non Governmental, Non Profit making organization of Patna Jesuit Society which is registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, having its office at St. Xavier's, W. Gandhi Maidan Marg, Patna.
In the year 2005, on 10th of April, blessing and inauguration of the house of Patna Jesuit Society at Bhagwanpur took place. Fr. Andrew James, SJ started Non Formal centers to give awareness and to uplift the people of Mushuhar community.
On 31st July 2010, Bishop J.B. Thakur, SJ along with many priests and sisters were present for the naming of the place as Asha Deep. New name was given under the leadership of Fr. Jesuraj, SJ as director.
Fr. Dominic Francis Xavier S.J has been appointed as director on 8th September 2018. By 2025, Asha Deep trained 7200+ unorganized youth in different skills and provided job opportunities across India with salary ranging from Rs. 6,000 to 35,000.
